Apple store boxing day sale?

Does anyone know if the apple store has ever had a boxing day sale? I'm wondering if I should hold off until Jan for a upcoming purchase.

Since I'm a new mac owner I haven't really looked in the past years..

iMac g5, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

I'm not aware that Apple has ever tied a promotion to any significant non-Apple date, only to dates that match Apple's new product releases or inventory cycles.

Last year Apple had a sale on the day after Thanksgiving. That is the only time I know that they had a sale like that.

Apple Store Singapore has an sales event on the 28th Dec, not sure whether it is a post-Christmas sale or what, think this is the first time I see my local online store doing something like this
