DVD burning software

hello!

so the last time i did this i had a PC and i used DVD Shrink and it was quick and easy! now i'm looking for something comparable to DVD Shrink, a one stop all encompassing program, on the Mac. i'm going to live abroad soon for a few months and want to take some DVD's with me, however i don't want to take the originals in case of damage or loss. so what i did the last time i went away was use DVD Shrink to burn copies, but now DVD Shrink doesn't work on my Mac. Thoughts? I'd like the easiest way to do this because i'm not too savvy when it comes to programs, which was why i liked DVD Shrink. i clicked about 3 different programs and let it go and it did it all! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

P.S. i would like to burn the DVD's on to other disks because i don't want to take up storage space on my computer with them. (i know DVD Shrink would compress and burn so they could fit on 4.7 disks, which was fine with me - quality was never an issue.)

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

i'm just wondering how i can make a DVD copy of my commercial DVD's for back-up purposes.

I assume you're talking movies, in which case that is actually illegal in the USA. Most commercial DVDs have copy protection and it is illegal to undo that, even for purposes of backing up a DVD you own. Apple specifically prohibits discussion of doing that (anything illegal) on this help forum so sorry, we can't help you.
