restore my backup from backup 3.2

I cant restore my backup from backup 3.2. Although the backup file is still there an my Lacie external drive, I cant restore my back from the old back. I have downloaded a new back up 3.2 and no files appeared in backups to restore. Help!

I need these files to restore my iphone app iblue sky, which were lost when I changed my start up disk from my original 250 to 500gb hard drive.

Are you using Tiger (10.4) as is the forum in which you posted, or Leopard (10.5) which is the OS indicated in your computer information?

...unfortunately I have this need to restore from these old archives, but those links are no longer active. Apple removed them, and to my surprise, when contacting apple support, I was told that no one, and they meant no one knows how to do this there... that this was well before their time!

So, does anyone else as old as me here know how to do this?

Obviously I will change the backup system in place once restored.
