Well,
No doubt this will be removed, but lets see.
Firstly, I am a bit surprised that my posting has been edited to include a series of asterisks giving the impression that I had used bad or profane language, when all I said was that it (and here I used a transitive verb meaning "To... draw into the mouth by contracting the muscles of the lip and mouth to make a partial vacuum..."
Why that should be edited out is beyond me. I am not one to use bad or profane language in any area, let alone a web forum and fully backup censure of its use. But when an innocent figurative of speech is edited like this, I have to wonder whats going on.

Is there a way to produce a landscape document? I would expect a document orientation setting in the document setup or print settings menu's, but I could not find option. There must be a demand for landscape documents. Can Pages for iPad ONLY create a portrait document?
One way to have a landscape document is by rotating text boxes and images.
Try this:
Create a blank landscape document on your Mac in Pages, save it, then upload it to iCloud. Go to Pages on your iPad and try to open the document (I am assuming that iCloud is tuned on and functioning). This message should appear:
"This document will become a Pages for iOS document and may look different from the original." Chose "Open a Copy" or "Open" and you should be good to go.
I am using:
iCloud (as of 2012-03-24)
iOS 5.1
Mac OS 10.7.3
Pages 1.6 (iOS)
Pages 4.1 (Mac)
The best place to let Apple know how you would like Pages to be improved is
It's simple. Rotate the iPad to landscape and it'll print in landscape. Rotate the iPad to portrait and it'll print in portrait.
