Joining Wifi Network

For some reason, my wireless network on my imac is not connecting automatically...instead it connects to a different wifi network on my street. It started happening after i accidentally selected the different network one time and now it uses that now. Granted I don't broadcast my SSID, but my macbook pro doesn't have any issues.

Is there a way to reset the network settings so that i can have it automatically connect to my network again?

Imac, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.

Open the Network panel of System Preferences, select the AirPort connection item on the left, and click on the lock if it's closed to authenticate. Then click the "Advanced" button. Select the network that you don't want to use and click on the "minus" sign to delete it. Finally, closed that panel and check the option to "Ask to join new networks".
