Replacement screen for iPhone 3GS ?

I recently dropped my phone and it landed face first onto the concrete, and it obviously, broke . I know this isn't covered in the iPhone warranty as it is due to accidental . But i was wondering how much it would cost to replace the screen on it ?

A1303, iOS 4, iPhone 3GS 16gb

If you are in the US it will cost you $199 for an out-of-warranty replacement. Or you can use Google and find a 3rd party repair site.

hmm well, im in Canada, and this is my second iphone ive broke and i just finished paying 230 for an entire new phone with the out of warranty plan, isn't there a plan where you can just pay for the screen?

Personally if I were you I'd switch to a much cheaper phone. You can check with you Apple Store and see if they can repair screens. If they don't, use Google as I suggested and find a 3rd party repair site.

There are tons of iPhone repair centers popping up so you should be able to find somebody locally. Generally speaking if just the glass is broken it can cost anywhere from $70-90 for just the glass. It is a rough ball park for a price so don't quote me.
