Iphone 4 bluetooth not working

Why is it my iphone 4 bluetooth is not working..cant find my ipod touch and ipad even bluetooth setting is already set to on mode.keeps on seaching for bluetooth devices even though my stuff are just 1 inch closer.

There is nothing wrong with your phone. Pairing to other devices by bluetooth is not supported, so you can quit trying.

Now i just realized how stupid iphone was...how come it's been a long time since bluetooth technology was invented... It's a major means of file sharing...and yet it costs a lot.

You can connect them. I often share photos between my iPad and iPhone 4. You do it through apps not through the Bluetooth settings. Just download a suitable app for transferring the type of info you want. Many of the apps have free versions.

I'm confused on this - my bluetooth quit working too. It used to connect to my car and a handsfree device. Just a few days ago both were working in the morning and now it they won't connect.
