Looking for driver for HP Scanjet 4300c

I have spent today looking for a driver. All I can find are drivers for PCs. Anyone any ideas where I can find one?

g5 imac iSight, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

I don't think you're going to find anything, many bare bones Scanners & Printers are Windows only & to save money use built in Windows functions instead of chips in the devices to handle everything.

Not even does the great VueScan appear to support that one...

Consider Thomas Jung's blog post HP ScanJet on Mac OS X (or any scanner, for that matter). Also, scroll down the responses to the one by Mike on July 13, 2010 for his tips specifically with the HP Scanjet 4300c.

Thanks for the responses, everybody. Nothing worked, so I gave up and did the job on a friend's scanner.
