Blinking Menubar Icons with iSync on

Hello!

Since today, every time I start iSync and turn on the "Show Menubar Icon" option, all icons in the menubar diasappear and appear again in a neverending matter. I already erased the ~/Library/Preferences folder, but the problem is still present.

Does anyone have an idea?

Best,

The Sync icon that appears in the menu bar is not an "iSync" menu. It is the system-wide "Sync" menu which is used for all syncing in Mac OS X, but mainly for controlling and getting information on MobileMe syncing (click the icon whilst holding the Alt key).

To reset the underlying SyncServices framework, Alt-Click the Sync menu icon and choose "Reset Sync Services..." at the bottom.

The problem is, that I cannot "click" the icon in the menubar - every time I activate the option "show icon in menubar" - all icons appear and disappear again and again for some seconds. If I try to click the isync (or sync) icon the time it appears, it just says "loading..." - and that's it - after that it disappears again, and appears again after some seconds.
It seems that there is something broken with the sync service - as I also cannot sync my phone.

The last thing I did before the error is to install "quicksync" - a program for siemens gigaset phones - but even removing this program doesn't change anything.

If I start the script in the helpfile, I get the following messages:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

$ /System/Library/Frameworks/SyncServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources resetsync.pl reset

Still - it doesn't work.
