How can I embed video into a Pages '09 document?

How can I embed a video into a Pages '09 document? I'd like to embed small video tutorials into either a Pages document or a .pdf but it needs to be playable on iPads and such. Any suggestions?
I don't want to have to open Adobe to view the document if I make it a .pdf. Any .pdf reader should be able to open it. I'd prefer Pages. Does anyone know how to do this, please? Thanks SO much!

To insert a video in a Pages document it's really simple.

You open *_Pages User Guide_* and you use the Search tool to find the word "video".

As I'm not a bad guy, I will add that it's described page 24 (in the English version)

This said, I'm not sure that you will be able to play the video in an exported PDF.
In fact, I'm quite sure that you can't.

I don't have an available video file to make tests.
