I recently upgraded to 10.6.6 and now Firefox will not start. I click on the icon it bounces a few tunes in the dock and then ... nothing.

I have deleted the mozilla files from my user library (app support and preferences) and the library for the machine. Deleted Firefox, redownloaded and installed it and get the same behavior.

I must note that it did used to work and last used it before the 10.6.6 update.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does FF launch in Safe Mode (hold Option key when launching)?

If yes, then you may have an issue with extensions, so disable them all, relaunch FF, and re-enable extensions one at a time.
