Battery Percentage

I was wondering if there is a way to set an iPod touch 4th gen. So that it tells you the battery percentage that is left. I've seen this on the iPhone 4 and was wondering if it was possible for an iPod without jailbreaking it because I've tried to but it doesn't work since I have too new of a version. Thanks for helping!

Go to Settings - General - Accessibility - Triple-click Home - make sure it's ticked on Toggle VoiceOver. Get back to the home screen, tap the home button 3 times (be fast!) and click on the battery icon in the top right corner. The voice-over will tell you the battery percentage. Tap the home button 3 times again to turn the voice-over off. There's no way to display the battery percentage next to the icon other than jailbreaking, unfortunately. 🙂

there are actually a lot of apps on the app store, in both categories free and paid, that will show the percentage of the battery, as everything there are different levels of accuracy among them but I find one that its working as a charm for me (not quite sure if you can actually recommend specific apps by name on the discussions so I'm not going to just in case 🙂 )
