Adjusting playback speed in iTunes on iPad

My kid was playing around with my iPad and now all my msic in iTunes sounds like Alvin and The Chipmunks are singing. I've read this can be adjusted through the playback speed, but I can't find where this adjustment selection is on the iPad. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

IPad, iOS 4

There are no controls for playback speed or, indeed, anything else in iTunes. All playback is through the iPod app and it has no speed control that I know of.

Try playing with those controls to see if some strange combo does affect playback speed.if no luck there, which is likely, then follow the troubleshooting steps recommended in the troubleshooting section of your Guide, beginning with a force quit of iPod.
