Randomly my movies and such in Netflix keep stopping to buffer? Some nights it will happen once or twice others too many times where we just give up.
I have very good Cable connection speeds(Comcast) and my AT2 is connected directly via Ethernet Cable. I tested the speeds when it stops to buffer and speeds have been between 12 Mbps and 20.98 Mbps...
It gets really irritating when this happens, I also have our home computer connected to the TV with Netflix and NEVER does it stop to buffer when watching NetFlix through the PC.

iPad, Windows 7

I'm not sure why some people are having this problem. I have Comcast too, but I have never had Apple TV pause to rebuffer a Netflix show. Presumably, the Apple TV checks the download speed, and starts the show when it estimates that data is coming in fast enough that it will be able to stay ahead of the viewer. Presumably, buffering occurs when download speed slows while the show is running.

Wow I feel so honored, maybe after another 1000 Apple will correct this problem! Obviously if so many are experiencing the same buffers & stutters there truly is a problem and it's not at our end.. Netflix was a major reason I purchased the ATV2..
I wish useless attitude could correct problems for then you would be a "real" help.

Sorry about that, I just couldn't resist the temptation. There are already several long-running threads regarding Netflix problems on the ATV2 that you might find helpful if you take the time to read through them.

lol no prob, I overreacted. I have read many of them but none seem to help.. My patience is a but worn here.. Actually at the moment watching Arrested Development on Netflix and so far it buffered 4 times and sound dropped 3 times during only 2 episodes.. Disappointing..

Netflix works well in Safari on my Mac mini so I don't think there is a problem with the service itself. I suspect there is a problem with the embedded Netflix player in the ATV that is need of a bug fix update from Apple.

I am also having the SAME issues. It all boils down to my ATV2. I've read the forums, swapped routers, bought a new modem, re-cabled. I agree with Capaho, it has to be a bug in the ATV2. My Roku box never did this.
