Arrow keys anyone???

1) Let me be the first (and last) to tell you that your unearned sense of superiority is a winner
2) While I certainly wouldn't expect a fair critique of Apple from someone with your userID, your taking a negative statement about them so personally is indicative of some mental/emotional issues that you should probably address at some point.
3) Product quality and customer service are entirely different things. In my experience, Apple product quality is very high in some respects and quite middling in others. That, however, was not what I was talking about. Apple feedback is a black hole; customer comments go in and nothing ever comes out. Apple only allows me one way to contact them and they give me no reason to think that my comment has been read or considered. They'll also let me crowd source any problem I have to people like you, and I think the flaw in that plan is pretty obvious.

This is a user forum and the responses you recieve will be varied. Its not the place for feedback, or to to contact Apple directly.
Contacting Apple
Contacting Apple for Support and Service
All of which I have done, and Apple's response has been deafening silence. Apple, so far as I can tell, has simply crowdsourced their customer service, and stevejobsfan is a prime example of the quality of that...
So when you called apple support, all you heard was silence?

stevejobsfan0123 is, in fact, an excellent example of a helpful fellow user. He has volunteered many hours helping people here. Based on the number of points he has, his fellow users have found his assistance extremely useful (points can only be awarded by an original poster who feels the answer is helpful). When you have been as helpful, I will consider your criticisms of how helpful other people are.
Best of luck.
apple has become a bit like crocs. apparently crocs gets thousands of requests from buyers to offer half sizes but those requests are ignored. I buy 15 pairs of shoes each year but because i wear a 10.5 crocs will never win my business. Also like Apple, if you post a comment on their website, you are met with silence from corporate.
I have the new logitech ipad keyboard and surprisingly logitech included arrow keys. Jeez what a dumb marketing move on their part. sic. Apple has probably lost the plot, but hopefully temporarily. In the last year I've ditched the iphone and the mac air in favor of samsung and toshiba and never been happier. I keep the ipad because it has the best battery life and it is the only tablet that seems to offer scrabble. I'm kinda over apple right now.

Really? That's the reason you don't buy crocs?
Not sure how to interpret that question. The reason I don't buy cros is because they're not really my style but I spend a lot of time at beaches and on planes and they are pretty much perfect for those environments. But because they're either too big or too small, I just go buy shoes from other vendors. Kuhl doesn't offer shorts in a 33" waist. It's either 32" or 34". I'm a 33" so I buy my shorts from other companies. Their suggestion for me to wear a belt lost my business. Give me what I want, I'll buy it. Try to save money by cutting stupid costs and I won't.
The initial que question was perfecto y logical and understandable.
You see, when i click on a word to locate the cursor, the ipad "decides" that i wanted to put it somewhere else or maybe that i wanted to select the whole word, and it takes many many frustrating clicks to accomplish what i wanted.
Yes for many uséis, the cursor keys would be a very welcome addition.

Sigh. Godwin's Law.....
Maybe the ipad isn't for you; no harm there. Their are many available options, you might want to consider them rather than whining.
Just signed up today to make friends. Impressive first post...
Much ado! I spent 5 minutes removing a space from an incorrect email address.
There was a cursor . If I'd had arrows 10 sec max to back up to the space.
There is no zoom of gmail addresses.
My fingers are large
So I selected all
I copied
I switched to contacts
I pasted into iPad contacts
I used magnifying glass to edit email in contacts
I saved
I selected edited email
I copied
I returned to gmail
I pasted correct email in gmail
No way this would make Jobs proud!
Just give us arrows
I agree. I would like arrows. At least for them to show up when you place the I-beam cursor in the text. I never can get it located inbetween the right letters to delete the right one. And in Notepad I can't zoom the text larger to place it in the right spot. Until I got the Apple keyboard I plugged in a regular full size external windows pc keyboad using the camera connection kit. It worked fine except it ran the battery down fast.
So instead of having arrows on the onscreen keyboard they could just pop up somewhere else when you tap in the text.
Arrow keys anyone???
