Mar 8, 2011 1:33 PM in response to Eric Boltby Paul Hesketh,Just had same error, did some fault finding for an hour or so. nothing worked. finally tried one more thing, plugged usb cable into iMac G5 (had already tried on this machine), attached to iphone 4, held down home and sleep buttons for approx. 20 seconds, nothing seemed to happen then all of a sudden it sprang back into life. Reinstalled iOS 4.2 and restored from my last backup, works great again. Hope this helps -
Apr 8, 2011 7:24 PM in response to Eric Boltby mac1679,There is gotta be something wrong with the device and / or system, I imagine you haven`t done anything unusual related to the use of your iphone and suddenly.... the spinning wheel and no response at all, and as I`m noticing this error seems to be kind of frequent.
Is your iphone functioning good right now, or which was the solution you got?
Best regards -
