Adding contacts to Facetime

Hi,
First let me say Im new to Mac computers. Grant it, I'm not totally technically ignorant as I have built/repaired windows based systems as a hobby over the past 12 years or so. I also own an iPhone 4 and recently go my Macbook Pro. Anyway, I downloaded Facetime beta for the Macbook. I also have a friend who owns a Macbook pro who did the same. We were hoping to try to do video calls from Mac to Mac, which apparently can be done via the beta version. The problem I'm having is I can't find a way to add new contacts to Facetime. I've done some basic searching on the forum and via google but have yet to find the way to add contacts to Facetime on the macbook. Does anybody have any insight on this? Thanks!

By the way, I will NEVER buy another Windows based PC ever again! Apple rocks!

Macbook Pro 13", Mac OS X (10.6.6)
