Ipad needs to "unforget" Bose Sound Dock 10

Hi,
I kind of know (think I know), what I have done, but can't find a way of undoing it.
When I bought my Bose sound dock 10, i remember seeing the Bose on my ipad bluetooth devices. I inadvertently told it to forget the Bose system. Since then I cannot find the Bose system on my ipad.
I was able to connect my Iphone to the Bose system with no problems using bluetooth.

Stupidly, I was showing a friend today and pressed the "forget this device" on my iphone. Now the Iphone can't see the Bose either anymore.

Does anyone know how to get the Ipad and Iphone to "unforget" the Bose sound dock 10?

A problem of my own doing...but would appreciate if someone could help!

Hi. I guess it's not that easy. Does anyone know how one would "unforget" a/any device with the ipad and iphone?

I don't have a Bose, only you rich folks can have them but I use forget this device all the time on my Bluetooth headphone. it turn Bluetooth off on my ipad or iphone then turn Bluetooth back on and the headphone and ipad or iphone find each other and pair. good luck.

Hi The very same happened to me. Spoke to Apple and they didn't want to know actually told me that it "should never have worked in the first place"! Anyway I contacted Bose by e mail and within 2 hours a guy called me and sorted it. This is what we did.
1) Turn sounddock 10 off from the mains for 30 seconds
2)switch off bluetooth on your ipad
3)Turn sounddock on at the mains place it in discoverable mode by pressing and holding the dock button for at least 3 seconds until light on bluetooth dock begins to flash.
4)Turn bluetooth back on on the ipad you should now see the sonddock 10 appear in devices .
Worked for me anyway......hope this helps. Have to say Bose cust support was absolutley fantastic and I do have a number if this doesn't work. Should think it will be the same for the iphone too. Regards Harvey

I had the same problem and basically harveyeggington's anwer is right.

I didn't get the part where you have to turn the sounddock 10 bluetooth device into "discoverable" mode. When you turn the device, the light on dock flashes, and if you hold down the button the light flashes more slowly and that's where you're in a discoverable mode. And you will have no problem paring the devices.
