Exchange - Unable to Verify Account Information

We've been trying to setup the iPad on our exchange server, 2003 version. We enter in all the info, and we keep getting the error message "unable to verify account information".

Now, I synched my droid with no problem.

Do we need to do something to the server or the iPad?

To the original OP...
if I understand you correctly and you are trying to get an Exchange email account set up on your iPad... are you entering a domain name in the mail settings on your iPad? If you have done so, try removing the domain name and see if it will work without the domain name since the information is optional. I think this is how I got mine to work.

If you can get the mail on your Droid I would have to assume that you have the correct server information entered.

My exchange account is through Comcast so I had to use their specific server info and once I removed the domain name, my mail worked and that is why I suggested it to you.

The only other option may be to delete the account and start again and maybe enter the domain name when you enter the info again.
