why do only some of my apps sync?

my ipod is almost out of room so i only want to sync certian apps, some apps it will let me sync like facebook, but i want to sync a dane cook and a justin bieber app, i will check it to sync but when i click the sync it unchecks itself and dosent go on my itouch. i need help...
