how to record video in landscape mode but holding phone in portrait mode

Hi all,

Is it possible to record iphone video in landscape resolution but holding phone in portrait mode like a Flip camera? It's so much easier to hold the phone in portrait position.

Anyone?

This bugs us too. We created KinKast, an iPhone app, that lets you record widescreen (1.5 aspect ratio) while holding the phone in portrait mode. Check it out at http://bit.ly/iaBtf6
