Your Apple ID has been disabled!?

After I had to change my cc# due to a security breach, I can't down load new apps or update the old ones. I am logged onto iTunes, and apple with the new info, but iPad says- "your apple I D. has been disabled." yikes!

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Regarding to this issue, i did try to call Apple almost 10times but they did get my call 3times but when i started talking about my apple id has been disable, they keep transfer me one to another one or hold my call for about 5 to 30mns and I can feel that they do not welcome me in this matter.

the representatives are not friendly, and act like we are begging them even we are the victim of their weakness and faults.

Apple is a giant company but always make trouble to customers. I also got an email from their customer support but when i request he/she to solve my problem but there is no reply until now. At least they must tell us the reason why the applie id has been disable and provide us appropriate solution so that we can continue to support them. I spend over thousands of USD to buy good application and game from them like dictionaries for both iphone and macbook.

My royalty to Apple is nothing beside blocking my account. Apple are too funny with this matters!

**** gift from Apple to everyone in this Christmas!!!!!

I have no idea why the great man stand behind the great success like steve job left us full of pain by delegating the job to the guy with low experience n knowledge to manage the giant company like apple as they have no positive solution like when steve still alived beside nlocking apple id to hurt customer feeling n losing money. Apple is now acting like a scammer n customers seem a victim of their weakness. I waste over 1000usd with the fking disabled apple id.

Said my account was suspended. Nothing else. No instructions of what to do next. Nothing. If this is Apples normal operations I'll just switch to a new, free, bigger, no monthly or charges for any apps. or music!!! U don't have to pay a dollar & whatever to download a song they get for free!! Anyone who's had a Droid knows exactly what I'm talking about. This is a load of CRAP!!!! Phones are way overpriced then when your bank makes it right Apple gets ****** & says our Apple ID's are disabled!! Why? I didn't let u continue to rip me off?? APPLE??? An answer would be nice!! Any answer at all!!! This is CRAP!!!!

That's exactly what has happened to me literally 2 minutes ago. I made a fresh Apple ID, put all my details in there, tried making an app purchase and it tells me to contact support, which I do. Just to wait for 30 minutes and then find out that my Apple ID has been disabled. When I asked why and under what reason they do so, they shut their mouth and direct you to 'Account Security'. I just made this account, who the **** would breach it that fast?

I don't see where he is complaining. He stated the the error was "Your Apple ID has been disabled" NOT "Your Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" - they are two different errors. I too am getting the "Your Apple ID has been disabled" error, and resetting the password won't work because it is not an error of too many failed logins. I can access all of my Apple accounts, and have no problems, but I cannot buy or updates Apps. There is no reason for this; I have not had CC issues, I do not have too many devices on the account ID - I just started getting this error. I HAVE followed the directions given for the security issue and no joy. I HAVE sent Apple support and email with the issue and no joy. And now I AM COMPLAINING because I can't buy or update apps through no fault of mine and Apple is unresponsive to the issue that many seem to be having. Apple does not even have the decency to send you an email stating why the ID is disabled.

I have exactly the same problem. There's no odd activity on the bank account associated with the account, the iPhone is not jailbroken, I've reset the password.

I can update account details, but I can't download any apps - no new Angry Birds [sob]. I've mailed Apple support, but Googling indicates that loads of people have the same issue 😟
