How to uninstall App on MacBook Pro?

Can anyone help me to uninstall a free app that I downloaded on my MacBook Pro?

What happens when you drag it to the trash? Are you actually moving the app or is it making a copy?

Are you an admin user?
If so, try repairing permissions with Disk Utility. Then, try again.

Oh my, I just figured it out! I had to use the finder and click on apps, and then right click to move it to trash that way!

So after you deleted the app from your applications folder the problem was resolved? I'm trying to delete an app as well (not from Itunes). I deleted everything and tried to reinstall but not having any luck.

What he said worked just fine for me thank god. I've been trying forever to figure out how to delete them. I thought just dragging them would work but you have to drag them from finder to do so...
