Contrary to popular belief the Ocz Vertexes are not the fastest.

There is some talk about non-sandforce ssd drives being faster on Macs because Apple optimized MacOSX for non-sandforce ssds. I do not know if thats true, but it would make sense since Apple uses non-sandforce ssd drives.

Hard to give any weight to a review that snubbs OWC drives, but the top 4 here are Sandforce:

Apple doesnt support OWC and if you install anything but an apple supplied SSD drive it will void your warranty.
