Clear DVD player memory?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to clear out the dvd player memory (where it stores what place you were at in each dvd)? At some point there was a post about this but it seems to have disappeared. Maybe it was too long ago. I did it once but can't remember how...it seemed to clear a ton of memory up. Thanks!!
