iphone made in taiwan

Perhaps the 'friend' just very recently bought it, is outside the return time, and is just trying to sell it quickly?

I'd be more concerned about it possibly being a stolen/lost device.

I'd make sure that the serial number shows as not Activation Locked at www.icloud.com/activationlock

why do you think that if the hotmail address, it is a scam?

A legit company would at least have their own domain for email. Plus, how could they sell an iPhone 4S for half the price of anyone else? It's a fake. You've been warned.

I have the same question. Friend selling iphone 6S Plus 64GB with 1yr Apple service warranty made in TAIWAN for $469. Is this FAKE? please can anyone tell me?

It costs 32500TW in Taiwan, which is around $975 US. Of course it's a fake. The only way it can be bought for $469 is if it's used. But then it wouldn't have a 12 month Apple warranty.
