Looking for iPhone emulator for MBP..?

I'm looking for iPhone (or iPad) emulator for Mac. There's some software I need to run for work that only available for them, and I'd like instead to run them on my Mac.

Anything available?

As far as I know, you'll only be able to emulate apps you develop yourself - not apps downloaded from the AppStore.

A bit of Googling confirms what I thought. You can only runs apps in the simulator that you have the source code to. When the SDK compiles an App, different code is used in the simulator to what is sent to the AppStore.
