I have an iPad that is about a month old, and its starting to experience a problem that I often had on my iPod touch. During game play, it will sort of freeze or hesitate for a split second repeatedly. Happens about every 10 seconds. So far I'm only noticing it in Angry Birds, but the issue got so bad with my iPod touch that I could no longer play games on it.
Done some searching, and haven't seen this issue discussed. Have tried hard restarts and doesn't seem to help.
Have others seen this issue?
Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, iMac, G5, G4,
Mac OS X (10.4.8)
I have also noticed that....but it's seems only to be when playing Angry Birds. Your mention of this makes me lean towards thinking that it's the game and not the iPad. I don't have that happen in any other game or app. Also, using the same thought as the OP had, I have quit the game, closed out all other running apps., started the game again and had the same thing happen.
No resolution here.
I found a bug report on Angry Birds that describes this issue, so I have decided it must be related to that. They say that it happens only after you visit the main menu, and usually goes away after you play awhile. That seems to be what happens. Not related to other apps being open, cause it happens after a restart.
