Syncing iPad to new computer

I am trying to sync my iPad to a new computer since my last one died. I have already transferred most of my music and files to the new computer, except for some recent purchases on my iPad. When I plug the iPad, it tells me that I can transfer the recent purchases to itunes, I then hit transfer and itunes begins an automatic sync.

The problem is that itunes in this computer is not recognizing all the apps I have on my iPad and tries to delete them all. I've tried changing the setting to manual but it still tries to eras all the apps.

Is there a way to sync my iPad to this new computer, transfer the purchases I have made, and not lose all my apps?
I appreciate any help.
