Sep 7, 2012 11:05 AM in response to Squibbby dreamchanter,Like I said, it came with my 5 year old 24" iMac. So you'd have to check used mac places. I can't find a part number. That's the best I can do. Sorry.

Sep 7, 2012 12:03 PM in response to dreamchanterby Appfie,I purchased an iMAC last year, and I purchased from the Apple store a blue tooth wireless keypad. It was working fine for a while, now I cannot connect it, so I will have to return it to the Apple store. the keypad is an attachment to the wireless keyboard. WHen it works, it works well. Follow the installation instructions to the letter.

Sep 7, 2012 6:15 PM in response to Appfieby ddavelarsen,Yeah, I bought one too. It would never stay connected and finally wouldn't connect at all. I just threw it in the trash and got involved in this thread. That hasn't led to any solutions though. I really think I'm going to have to buy a third party keyboard just so I can use my dear iMac efficiently. How clunky can you get!? Third party freakin keyboard!

Nov 21, 2012 5:19 AM in response to Froogleloopsby Sheerwaterguy,I totally agree that a Apple keybroard with numeric keypad would be wonderful. I use my keypad on a daily bases and would be lost without it. I don't want to have a none Apple keyboard because it would spoil the look of the computer setup. Surely, its not that much of a cost element to make the slightly bigger keyboards after all they are still making the wired ones.

Dec 27, 2012 9:33 PM in response to dtlambby dtlamb,Here's the link:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB110LL/B/apple-keyboard-with-numeric-keypad
OR
Got to Apple and click on “store”
Scroll down to “For Mac” and click on “Mice & Keyboards”
It is currently (12/27/12 11:30pm cst) the 18th item and priced at $49
I received a Macally iKey slim keyboard for christmas several years ago and really like it, though it is wired, doesn't have all of the controls and the USB ports are low powered (not sure if the apple keyboard is different there). I don't recommend the mouse, though. The keyboard is available on Amazon for $20 at the link below.

Dec 29, 2012 5:27 PM in response to dtlambby James Littler,That apple one is wired. Notice the USB ports!
I've been wanting a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad for as long as I've had my magic mouse. Not too much to ask surely?! Just replace the USB ports with bluetooth functionality.

Dec 29, 2012 6:53 PM in response to James Littlerby ddavelarsen,Well, I got so freakin tired to typing numbers on the short keyboard that I finally just bought the wired one. While it's not as elegant as a wireless board, having the keypad and home and end keys is worth it to me. Fifty bucks for old tech! Sheesh. But I am happy again.
I've been wondering whether wireless can't manage the extra code that the keypad and full function of a complete keyboard is the reason Apple stuck us with the short wirelress board. In any event I'm happy with my new fully functional keyboard and the wire hasn't caused me any undue stress.
Recommended for those of us who do a lot of analysis or simply type a lot of numbers.

Dec 30, 2012 1:04 PM in response to RandomAppleIDby ddavelarsen,Here's the link where Apples sells it, but I bought mine at Best Buy for the same price.
It's worth having the extended keyboard even if it's USB.

Dec 30, 2012 11:16 PM in response to ddavelarsenby RandomAppleID,It's not Wireless. OP(and me too) wanted to know whether there's a Wireless full keyboard (with numeric keys) available.
-
Dec 31, 2012 12:07 AM in response to RandomAppleIDby ddavelarsen,There isn't, which is extremely frustrating and hard to understand. And for what it's worth, I tried the wireless numeric keypad addon, and it *****. I ended up throwing mine away because it would not stay connected.
