iSale or GarageSale?

iSale or GarageSale?

Does anyone use either of these apps for selling on eBay? I've been waiting for a while to read reviews etc but I'm getting to impatient and having just cleared out my girls bedroom I have lots of stuff to list.

I'm swaying towards one, but would love some input from a user if there is one about?

iPhone 3GS 16GB, iOS 4, Macbook Pro (10.6.5)

Could you elaborate on that?

At one point I bought GarageSale as part of a bundle. I'm not sure, but the registration for that may still be good for the latest version. If that's the case, if I ever actually try to sell something on eBay, I'll have to weigh using an already-paid-for GarageSale or buying iSale. Can you help me decide? Thanks for any information.

iSale (from what I can tell) is updated more often, thus getting rid of bugs that may give you problems. Also it has a better interface, and works better with the updated ebay site.

I LOVE GarageSale and dislike iSale very much. I went with iSale first and it was adequate but then stumbled on GarageSale and WaaHOO! Whenever I put an auction up using GarageSale it works beautifully and the auction templates are quite beautiful. I seem to always make a sale and that's the bottom line. If your customer likes what they see they will buy. I just didn't have that kind of success with iSale.

Thanks, I was swinging towards iSale, but after a google search I found it wasn't that popular when compared. I've since downloaded a trial of Garagesale and so far I'm liking it alot. If I could find the time to mess a bit more and list an item I might get nearer to purchasing one. 😀

I myself was just researching the GarageSale / iSale comparison and came across your question. I think I'm going to have to agree with Lisa. I too have used iSale for a few years actually, for internet sales through our business. The last update or two have had crash after crash and it's getting more and more disappointing. I completely reinstalled and updated the whole program just a few weeks ago, and here we go again with the same bug popping up in my Console Messages. I am strongly considering switching to GarageSale. Perhaps there's a demo I can try.
