Accidentally restored from old backup

I just went to upgrade the software on my iphone via itunes. Near the end it asked me to create a new phone or restore from a backup. I chose restore from backup because I've used this phone with my itunes before and so I didn't think it was "new". However, what this did was delete all my photos from my phone and restored them with my last backup (6 months ago). So basically the only backup I have is from 6 months ago, which is now on my phone. But what I want to do is restore my phone to what it was BEFORE I did that restore.

I'm guessing this is not possible, but worth a shot asking. Anyone have any ideas?
