Canopus HQ Codec

I'm working on a video for a website that used footage from a Sony Z1 camera. The footage was captured long ago by someone else on a Windows computer and the original tapes are missing, lost, or wiped. The footage is in the AVI format, but with CUVC compression. I cannot put it through Compressor, and both Quicktime and VLC won't play the files. I know that this codec is for Windows computers, but is there any way to somehow flip these files into MOV with ProRes 422 compression? I've already tried putting them through Adobe Premiere CS3 on a Windows computer, but it won't recognize them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
