Export/Import OMF files on Cubase/Logic.Cubase/Nuendo users -pls help.

I am trying to Export files worked on Nuendo (which is v similar to Cubase) & import them to Logic so I can quit Nuendo for good! I have Nuendo on a PC so transfering seems quite a process. If any has done this before please give me some tips or links you may have. While exporting to OMF on Nuendo after going through the process in the end it says ,'could not save OMF file'.I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.By some fluke I managed to export one file on Nuendo to OMF,but unfortunately it does not seem to open up on Logic, although it does on Stuidio One DAW.In the nuendo OMF export window there are 2 options of OMFI type 1 & Type 2.Which type does Logic studio recognize? What am I doing wrong.I use Presonus Firestudio Mobile as interface.Any Nuendo/Cubase users or former users out there who can help?

After reading on the internet most folks seem to complain about importing OMF files into Logic that quite often it fails & it also seems v complicated to get it to work properly. Some suggest AAF as a better format for importing & then some suggest exporting the tracks on Nuendo as wav files & importing it into Logic (which seems the simplest). Is AAF easier & more recognizable in Logic than OMF? By using wave files instead of these will there be any quality loss?
