Setting default number for contact - is this possible?

Is there any way I can assign a default phone number for a given contact, so that when I dial them from the contacts list it dials a set number every time?

For example, the contacts list entry for my Dad has two numbers, his home and mobile. I ring him at home every time so I want to set that as the number that the phone dials every time.

TIA for your help.
