iPhone speaker not working properly?

I realized this about three days ago, that whenever I play sound out if the built-in speakers, the left speaker doesn't play sound at all, or if it dies then it isn't enough to notice normally.



My phone has appears to have done thissince I've had it, and I don't know why, but if anyone knows is this a common problem or is it just my iPhone?

Also, should I take it to my nearest apple store to get it looked at?
