Error 7 (Windows error 126)

Ok so this only happened today, it was working fine the other day.
I tired running iTunes, and an error up which read
"The program can't start because V3HUNT.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. -> iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)."

I've followed most replies in this forum, remove all Apple components(QuickTime, Apple Update, iTunes, etc.), update my .net framework to 4.0. It still shows this.

I once got to the point where it says "The ordinal 51 could not be located in the dynamic link library ODBC32.dll".

I somehow think this is connected to a Windows 7 error rather then iTunes. Would it help if I reformatted my computer?

Yes, Bonjour was one of the first 6 Apple programs that was specifically mentioned as needing to be uninstalled. If your iTunes reinstall is working then I guess you didn't need to remove Bonjour after all. Quicktime was not reinstalled on my Pc when I reinstalled iTunes. Only the first five programs in the list above are reinstalled with iTunes. You will have to reinstall the reast or let Apple Software Update do it if it prompts you to add them.

AMEN!!! I now have iTunes back and it works! I have jumped through hoops for the past 24 hours trying to get iTunes to install and get rid of all the error messages and the note about msvcr80.dll. I went so far as to search my computer for all the files that were said not to exist and they all existed! AND to find it was as easy as deleting all things Apple and then re-installing. Wish I had found this forum last night--for some reason it didn't show up in any of my searches.

Obviously Apple has had this problem before and they should know better.

I deleted everything Apple. Just went down the list in the uninstall window and uninstalled it all. I did this in the order mentioned in someone else's post: iTunes, Apple Support, Apple Mobile Device, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, iCloud, Quicktime, VoiceOver Kit, and anything else on your computer created by Apple. Then I restarted my computer and downloaded iTunes. (The Apple products in my list have shortened names because that is what I wrote in my notes) The list I followed was posted by lel1956. Hope you get good results.
