Hello Im not sure if this is where Im suppose to post this inquiry but I just bought a used Canon Rebel EOS Rebel XSI and the pictures nor the software install properly. The installation process for the software says its not applicapble and apple does not want to proceed it gives the option to relaunch or not. Then, I tried simply uploading the pictures from the camera to the computer and a window pops up saying its not the right formatt. Is there anything I could do?

What format are the pictures taken in Raw or jpg and exactly how are you attempting to upload the photos and where do you want the photos to go? Do you want them in iPhoto, Aperture or just in a folder on your computer? Please be descriptive, we're not there with you and can't tell what you're doing.

In addition to Roger's questions, I'm wondering if the software is compatible with your G5 and the old 10.0 OS - that is, if that is actually what you are using?

FWIW, I have two Canons and have never installed the software - mainly because it isn't needed. I'll wait with further ideas until you post back with more details.
