My app store is in the wrong language ... I had the language in settings for the iPad set in English but the bottom of the app store is in french!!
I did set my entire iPad to french for a few days to work on a project but it has been set back to English!
Anyone know how to change it to English???

Have you tried reseting your iPad? Noting will be erased.
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

You are in the USA or english-speaking country and not in France, right?

Open the App store, scroll to the bottom, logout of the App store then log back in.

I have the same problem. Apple has once again decided they were smarter than the customers. They base what app store language you get on the Network Provider you are connected to at the time you go to the app store. Anyone know how to tell the IPAD that just because I'm in an Israeli airport, I don't want my apps store in Hebrew? After all, you'd think Apple could figure out, since I set my IPAD language to English, that I might want the apps store in English as well? Or at least give me the option to change it once I'm in the apps store?

I had the same problem and outlogin and login again for me was the solution.

My language was Dutch en Appstore give me French.

    Now is it back Dutch

I have done both the restart and re-login and my app store is still half in Finnish. It is my native language so I can manage but I would hate to be an immigrant or a foreigner in Finland.

Constantly using two different naming paradigms for the same things does get a little awkward though, so I hope Apple fix this soon.

Go to settings, click on app store, sign out from there and sign back in.... That just worked for me

Thank you very much Airmanflex, This problem was making me crazy, but your tips worked perfect. The problem came with the iOS6 update, but in addition, this update deleted my YouTube icon and now I can't find it in App Store.

Does anyone know something about?, is it no longer available or is just that it doesn't exist anymore in my App Store source? Can anyone recommend a good alternative?

Same tip was given in this same thread over 18 months ago.

    It was removed from iOS.

YouTube has released an iPhone app but not oe specifically for the iPad.

You can access YouTube through Safari here -> http://m.youtube.com

Or get an app from the App store such as this -> Jasmine - YouTube Client

Wish I could help here, however, the same crap has happened to me since that crappy update.....arghhhhh!  Lost skype, facebook and countless outhers and now I can't download Skype again because I'm not aurhorized to 'use the Mexican app store'.  I've live in mexico the entire time I've owned my iPad and always maintained my language as english.  I was recently in the US and now that the update took hold, everything is in spanish even tho my preferred language is, and has always been, english.  Totally stumped here and ready to give it a flying lesson!

    Thanks Chris,

    I didn't sign out.

I scrolled to the bottom of the iPad App Store and clicked on view Apple ID.

I then received a message saying that my account was set in the American store and asked if I would like to change it back.
