Question

Facebook App not uploading pictures

I keep uninstalling and installing the Facebook Application because it won't upload my pictures from my iphone. It will work once or twice, then it won't. Always prompting me to either discard it or save it for later. Any ideas?

What does FaceBook customer or technical support have to say about this problem you are having with their iPhone app? I don't upload photos to FaceBook on a regular basis but I haven't had any problems when doing so. You are running the current FaceBook app version?

Hey Angela,

Are you uploading over 3G or Wi-Fi? Have you tried other networks?

I am running the latest version of FB, which seems to be maybe when this problem started. When I got the newest version. I have only tried uploading pics to FB on the 3G. Would wifi potentially be better?

It would be worth trying over Wi-Fi in order to see if that works. If Wi-Fi also fails, then there may be a problem with the app itself or with your phone.

I am still having issues, have re-installed, I get error messages too saying Unable to upload, save or cancel, despite turning off phone, restarting or reinstalling APP it just does not work uploading any photo from my Iphone 4 to FB whether it be WiFi or 3G

Same issue with mine. Every thing is updated over 3g wifi will NOT upload photos to facebook. WIth new pic taken or from file. This is BS and I am ****** off! Why can't these freaken apps work? and why is facebook taking so long to fix these crap??

Go to Settings > General > Location Services.

Is location Services on?

If not, turn Location Services on and turn FaceBook on for location services.

If Location Services is on but FaceBook is off for location services, turn FaceBook on.

Test if this resolves the problem.

Where in the Facebook App do I turn location services on? It's already on in my general settings for my iphone.

I found a workaround for this problem as I had wanted to post pics as I was traveling last week. I downloaded an app called iLoader. Works perfectly.

I have had problems for months ....and as soon as I decided I had time to call Apple I decided to look on-line and you were exactly right...Thanks So Much!
