dust under ipad screen

dust under ipad screen

I purchased a refurbished ipad and got it monday, as i am using it i am noticing specs of dust on the screen, and see even more when its turned off.

would apple exchange it?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Hi,

You would have to take it in to an Apple store and let them look at it.

You have 14 days from date of purchase for a refund or an exhange.

You can make an appointment at a Genius Bar in advance here.

I would think that that would be a warranty issue and, if correct, the OP has a year. (Do refurbs have the same warranty as new devices?)

thank you both for your help. i just wasn't sure if dust was a reason to bring it back for replacement, but sounds like dust should not have gotten behind screen.

after reading this post i reached apple and they agreed, dust is reason to exchange and i do get 1 year warranty, plus have option to buy applecare
