How to turn off built-in wireless 802.11b/g to use external USB wireless

If I am right, the wireless that comes in the Powerbook G4 15" is only 802.11b/g not n. I am probably getting one of these soon, and the Powerbook will reside at the other end of our house so I may need the 802.11n to reach my router. How do I disable the internal wireless so I can use the external one which will be on USB?
