Razer Orochi - Mac --> Forward/Back Macros

I'm having problems setting up the forward and back buttons on this mouse. I set up the macros but the darn things won't work.

Can anyone save me before I chuck this $80 mouse across the room.

I've been searching for a hour before this thread start and still can't find any answers. I have the latest firmware and driver updates on my mac for the Orochi.

Mac OS X (10.6.6)

I just got a Razer Orochi today and can only get the page back macro to work, the forward doesn't do it.

If it's a Win only mouse, Razer made a mistake by including a Mac manual in two languages and Mac drivers on their website. Then again.. your theory holds water since the darn macro isn't working.

Doesn't seem to work w/ USB Overdrive either.

Sorry for the late reply. I don't go on these forums too much. I have a Macbook Pro and the Razor Orochi mouse setup too. I figured out how to set it up a while back when I first got the mouse. Here's how I have it set up.

Page Backward: Single Key Delete

Page Forward: Set up a Macro as follows...
Press Shift 200ms
Press delete 200ms
Release delete 200ms
Release Shift 200ms

What the macro does is pretty much press Shift+Delete, which is the page forward shortcut for Safari.

Sadly, the Razer Orochi for Mac glitchs when you apply more than one macro to it making macros unusable, unless you only use one. There is a way around it tho.

Go into system preferences -> keyboard -> application shortcuts.

From here you can click the + icon and type in "Back" or "Forward" in the menu title box, and then assign a single button command(one of the F keys) for the keyboard shortcut. Then go into youre orochi pref pane and change the buttons to single key, then the single button keboard shortcut you assigned.

The only downside is you cant use User uploaded file[ or User uploaded file] to go backwards and forwards anymore.
