syncing iCal to 2 macs

I have a macbook, I just bought a macbook pro. Can I sync the calendars regularly so that if I add something to one, it automatically does to the other? I assume I can do this by setting up some kind of network, or something, just don't know how. Instructions would be helpful. Thanks.
