Lack of vo films

Living in France with a French itunes account, my wife is VERY disappointed with the lack of VO films (ie English)...
imagine the same restrictions with Music??????

The fault of Apple or the industry? Not sure....

In any case, a Christmas present that leaves a bad taste.

Apple/iTunes offerings seem to cater to the expected local audience and that's all.

Much of it will be due to media licensing hurdles which are unique and vary from country to country along with pricing/availability etc

I suspect Apple would love to offer everythig to everyone and just negotiate once with movie companies, but it's not that simple so they tend to just cater for the mass market in a given area.

a quick trip to itunes store before buying the appletv would have been a good idea
as it would have shown the things available in itunes in ones country
