Changing default language for Maps and Google searches in Safari?

So I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4 from China, and am trying to use it in America. I've changed the Language to English and Region Format to United States in the iPhone settings, and almost everything is okay now except for Maps and Google searches. In the Maps app, some street names still show up in Chinese. This also affects any other apps that rely on Google Maps. Also, when I search for anything with the search bar in Safari, it automatically uses Google.cn when I want Google.com. Does anyone know how to fix this?
