Griffin RoadTrip not working with iPhone 3G any more

Hi,

my Griffin RoadTrip is not working any more with my iPhone 3G.
Always message that this accessory is not compatible with iPhone, but before, it worked and now it doesn't any more.
(On Griffin case, it's mentioned that the accessory is designed for iPhone 3G)

any tricks for this?

Hello,

My Griffin RoadTrip stopped working on Feb. 6, 2011 for no reason. Message error says that "Charging is not supported with this device".

Maybe a OS update that has stricter charging specifications??

My iPhone 3GS is no longer working with Griffin RoadTrip. However my friend's 3G does work fine. I'm guessing there is an update on mine that isn't on hers.

Any clues?

Mine was working fine for about 6 months. Then, I started getting a "not compatible message." I called Griffin and they suggested a soft reset of the iphone 4s. The message went away but now the FM transmitter is not transmitting. Griffin sent me a brand new one (free) but the FM transmitter still does not work. That tells me that the iphone changed -- probably after an update.
