Which sound chip in Mac Mini 2010

Hi,

I installed Windows 7 using bootcamp on my Mac Mini. During installation the Nvidia HD audio driver was installed. But I read somewhere on a webpage one should install a Realtek Audio driver instead.

Which audio chip is built in the Mac Mini? Is it compatible to Realtek or Nvidia Audio chipset?

Mac OS X (10.6.4)

The newest mini has a Cirrus 4206ACNZ audio controller.

Hello All,

I also installed boot camp on my Mac Mini and now my Mic in is not responding. Is there another driver that has to be installed for it to work? The Audio Out is working fine.

Did you install the Boot Camp drivers after creating the partition and installing Windows?

Just an idea for you. There is an entire Apple Discussion forum dedicated to Boot Camp and Windows.

Whereas, not everyone here with an Intel iMac has installed, tried to install or has experience with BC & Windows, everyone there has or at least has an interest. You may attract help more quickly there.
