Forbidden error 403

Hi, I'm trying to understand why, all of a sudden, I am unable to access a regularly accessed forum from any of my Apple products! I can still access from a windows machine, but my ipad and macbook pro both give me the 403 error. Regardless of whether I use Safari, Icab, Atomic web, etc.
Any insight into why this would start all of a sudden, and a possible starting point to try and remedy the problem, would be greatly appreciated. The error.......

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forums/ on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.polarisatvforums.com Port 80

The forum is ....polarisatvforums.com

Hi,

I was able to access the site but had to use the Develop menu.

In Safari, from your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Advanced tab. Enable the Develop menu at the bottom of that pane. Now from your Safari menu bar click Develop / User Agent / Safari 4.0.5 - Mac.

Definitely won't open on Safari 5.0.3 nor Firefox nor Google Chrome.

The next time you launch Safari it will default to 5.0.3.

Thanks Carolyn. It really didn't make any difference, but thanks.
I suspect that the site is experiencing problems, and I'll just have to be patient.

you might be able to access it via http://coverproxy.com/index.php or similar until the site sorts itself out.

Hi Carolyn - I seem to be having similar problems but on a different site. I was able to access this site fine quite regularly in fact...This is what I get as an error message:

Access forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested object. It is either read-protected or not readable by the server.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

I am having this problem now..I find it strange that I purchased a new macbook air for my husband gave the technician at the store my apple I D to set up computer for my husband and this is now happening on my mac book pro?

Sometimes 403 appears in Puffin. Just close the app and reopen again. It works for iPad Air iOS 9
