MACBOOK PRO ADOBE FLASHPLAYER

I JUST BOUGHT A NEW MACBOOK RO 17 INCH AFTER INSTALLING IT I WENT ONLINE ON YOUTUBE AND YOUTUBE ASKED ME TO INSTAL ADOBE FLASH PLAYER AFTER DOWNLOU=ADING IT AND INSTALLING IT IT IS STIL ASKING ME TO DOWNLOUAD AND INSTAL ADOBE FLASHE PLAYER KNOW I HAVE TRIED IT ABOUT TEN TIMES CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME OUT

mac pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4), ADOBE FLAS PLAYER

{size:6px}Another thing to try is to first uninstall Flash Player using the uninstaller from this page, and then reinstall Flash Player.{size}

Ouch! Cap Lock overkill! I recently installed Adobe Flash. It installed first time. Did you use PC before or did you get another Mac?

Download Google Chrome, it has flash in-built - rather than bogging down your system with flash plug-in downloads.

Default Mac OS 10.6 install includes Flash Player, but often an outdated version, so beware! ; )

Also, nice that Firefox alerts users (with link to an update) when they have an outdated version installed.

@ Tuttle, that makes a little more sense. Thanks. I still like to use Safari and I won't get an alert as soon as an update is made available from Adobe. Does Adobe provide an RSS link as a means to receive notification of an update?

I've noticed that Adobe only posts their latest Flash Player betas at macupdate (with secondary links to latest stable versions).

@dvscrobe: A free membership at macupdate lets you add any app you want to a watch list and your watch list has a feed you can to subscribe to.

Don't know about Adobe and rss in particular.

lol, Thanks for that. I've actually started to look up most anything obvious. A member here has himself described as a "Certified Apple Technition." Before I poked him to the error, I looked it up, and indeed it exists as a kind of "geeky technician", however obscure.
